Cook Out in Rocky Mount

Great food great staff but one specific manager is not friendly at all she has a bad attitude and is just rude in general. This needs to change. Other than that keep up the good work.

So the food is awesome. This was my first time at a Cookout. My only 2 complaints are Christian rock is a terrible form of music to blast at your customers just turn down the christ. We're not all into that. Also the menu has incredible prices but if you are expecting a very misleading "big double" to fill you up you will be disappointed. Staff was great, super fast... but only four stars for portion size, misleading nomenclature, and pushing an agenda to their customers.

Food was delicious... Loved the Cheer Wine drink.... They made an error on my order and fixed it right away and went above and beyond... Will definitely go here again when I'm visiting again from Minnesota... Would highly recommend this place

As always good food at an affordable price

This is the worst food I've had in years. Traveling through, wanted something quick and simple. Got a hamburger that was 1/8 inch thick, burnt to a crisp. Picture is of something on my sandwich. Terrible.

If I’m going to eat fast food, it’s going to be here. The meat is real and not processed junk. Such high quality food and great prices, and the service is amazing.

Seat yourself environment. Fast and friendly service with a great variety of grilled and fried foods. A huge variety of flavored milkshakes ..public restrooms but no free wifi..2 drivethru lanes. Handicap accessible. Their lunch tray is a great deal for $5. No alcoholic beverages. Outdoor and indoor seating. Great place to take family and friends for great food at affordable prices.

The food was all hot and fresh. The service was friendly and the wait time was practically nonexistent. I love the choice of 2 sides with the Combo Meal which is strikingly affordable at $5.25. My overall experience was pleasant and I left with my appetite satisfied. No complaints here.

Usually Cookout is very good, but today was not so good. There were 3 of us and we all ordered quesadillas - 1 cheese and 2 chicken. They mixed up the orders and shorted us 1 cheese. None of the quesadillas had the cheese sauce on them so they were dry and they were all cold with the cheese not even completely melted. They did give the 1 that they shorted us, but it was prepared the same as the others, so it was just not a good experience.

Customer service was top notch. Food was good but the chicken was pretty dry.. this was my first visit, so maybe it was just a bad day for chicken strips. The prices can't be beat - will return! I wish they would do a better job at cleaning their high chairs though....

Poor service, incorrect order received and had to wait at counter to ask for the honey mustard and ice tea to be refilled, and staff completely ignored us. This also happened to other customers. The place was dirty and tables were not wiped cleaned. Will never return.

Went through their drive-thru and our customer service person was beyond polite. Total number of people ordering was 5, 3 of which were kiddos ages 3, 4 and 5. Our order was repeated back in a friendly fashion 3 times so accuracy was achieved with no hiccups and our person simply sounded happy to be doing her job. Being told "it was a pleasure serving you" was quite a surprise given most quick-serve food places end interaction with a bland "thanks for coming". 10/10 recommended for everyone!

Only place you can find a chocolate malted milkshake these days. My go to when i need a choc fix. Double drive thru also makes it quicker.

I love Cook Out. They have the best burgers. My usual is hamburger with chili, mustard, chili, slaw and extra onions. This Cook Out we went in and sat at a table. The milkshakes are so thick you have to let them sit a minute for the wonderful shake to come through the straw.

Great food!!! Chilli can be better for the hotdogs!

Make sure to tell them specifically that you are ordering the “tray” or you end up paying for everything separately and pay more than double. I assumed if I said “As my second side I would like a quesadilla” that I was ordering off the “tray” menu and that I just wanted cheese. I got chicken and paid $18 for what should have been about $8. I am not the only person who has had this problem as the clerk automatically said the manager told them to do that instead of asking for clarification. Poor policy and customer service. Also burgers are way too small and drive through lanes are crazy. If you are in the right lane watch out.

Nothing special I could better on my grill. Fries were soggy and the buns are so small.

It was pretty good. I only have 1 beef w/ that. I ordered one of the $4.99 meals, the cashier asked me if I wanted certain items on it I said yes, my total came to over $7.00 she didn't tell me that it would cost more for certain items on my burger. They need to let people know this in advance, especially if you're on a budget.

Went through drive thru, very fast service. My sandwich and puppies were delicious. I love stopping by any cookout, as they are cheap, and the food is better than other fast food restaurants.

One of the best fastfood places to eat there chicken is so fresh

We came to cookout for a nice meal and right away we noticed that most of the tables were dirty so we alerted one of the workers and the did nothing about it then I went to eat my burger and it was completely burnt then we alerted another worker about the tables and they finally did something. Probs to this worker for being nicer about the situation

Food was good and the place was clean. But the service was terrible. After placing the order and getting the food the empoyee where no where to be found. I wanted another cup for water. I waited for 5 minutes and no one came to the counter. Also other people that came to the counter they did not help them ethire. Lastly they didnt lable anything so it's a guessing game of you come here with a group. Also on my out they did not take the trash out. And the one bag they did take out they sat it infront of the building.

Everything was good. But asked for extra Cappuccino in shake and did not notice a difference.

Great food and great prices

Service has always been super great. But I've gone to get two corn dogs and the past three times they have been burnt to where I couldn't eat them. Which is very sad because it's the only place I eat corndogs. I've learned to check your food before you leave in case it's burnt which I never thought I'd have to do anywhere.

I love their banana milkshakes! I have to eat them as a guilty pleasure, though, as they have a sign on the window that states they use peanuts. My son is severely allergic to peanuts. I do, however, appreciate their honesty and for letting me know he shouldn't eat there.

The food was not very good and it was barely warm. And expensive!

I was not satisfied with our service at all. We made it aware to 3 different employees that the floor was extremely slick from one end to the other like someone may have mopped it with a kitchen mop or dirty water that had been used in kitchen it was greasy! We told the girl at register and she just said ok, the next guy did try at least but to no avail then we asked for a manager and he informed us they was aware that it was like that everytime it rains. if that's the case yal have a horrible leak all way thru the lobby. Seen elderly lady almost fall. it was me and my family and about 4 other families and we all day talking about it while the employees was just going about like it didn't matter.
